Itinerary name: Tour to the north and south of Kazakhstan 

 

Your guide will welcome you at International airport of Nur Sultan and you will start your travelling.  Today you will have sightseeing in capital city of Kazakhstan. You will start you city tour from Constitution Square. It is the square where N.A.Nazarbayev, president of Kazakhstan declared the change of the capital from Almaty to Astana. Then you will move to the Presidential Centre of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Here you will have an opportunity to see the Golden Man, the most valuable archeological finding not only Kazakhstan but also Central Asia. Next stop will be at the Khan Shatyr shopping center. It is an extraordinary work of architecture. Later you take a lift to reach the top of monumental tower “Astana-Baiterek”. This building has the greatest view to the city. After lunch at local restaurant, you will go to Kazakh Eli Square on the other side of Ishym River. Nur Sultan boasts with its modern architectural monuments, one of them is the Palace of Peace and Accord. Later it is worth to see the glorious beauty of the Khazret Sultan mosque.  Today’s excursion will end at the Palace of Independence, where long-term plans of Nur Sultan 2030 was exhibited. Stay in a hotel.

 

Today is devoted to the nature. It will be a day tour to Burabai National park (Borovoe). The travelling time takes 3-4 hours one way It is the biggest park close to the capital, the total are of the park is 85000 hectares. Burabai lies on the northeast part of Kokshetau elevation. It has a beautiful landscape with 14 big lakes and many small lakes. We will drive about 270 km to reach the resort area. En route, you will enjoy the stary of your guide about the area’s history, culture and economy. Upon arrival, you will see Khan’s pass and "Burabay" mountain. Later in Abylaykhan Valley, there will be incredible view of  Ush-kyz”, “Ok-Zhetpes”, “Zhumbaktas” rocks and “Kokshetau” mountain. You guide will tell you a story about each mountain, where you can also learn the history of Kazakh people. After lunch at local restaurant, you can have free time to look and walk around. Afternoon, you will take a short hike to Bolektau” mountain, where there is a stunning view of famous “Borovoe” lake and its wonderful landscape. After excursion drive back to the city and rest in a hotel.

 

After breakfast, you will have Nur Sultan-Almaty flight. Upon arrival, you will embark on city tour, which starts from Green Bazaar, where you can find different kind of things; from fresh fruits to national souvenirs. Then continue to central park-Panfilov, named for the honor of the famous Panfilov division participated in the World War II, where people of Kazakhstan also took part. In the middle of the park, there is a glorious building, the Zenkov Cathedral which many travellers adore. It is the world’s most beautiful tallest wooden construction. Its mesmerizing beauty will charm every visitor. Before leaving to the Medeo gorge, you will explore some other cultural sites of the city. Medeo Gorge is located on the south side of the city, where the highest alpine skating rink of the world is situated. Up on the gorge there is a popular ski resort Shymbulak. When you return to the city, you will climb to Kok-Tobe hill, you can see a panoramic view of whole Almaty. Furthermore, there is a TV tower that considered to be highest in the world, if we count from the sea level. On the way back, you can take a cableway to city center. Night in a hotel.

 

Today you will travel grandiose Charyn Canyons, it is the unique monument of nature which is good for day tours in Kazakhstan. While you are driving from Almaty, you will have time to listen interesting facts about geography and ethnography of Kazakh people. The erosion of eternal forces like the sun and water created Charyn Canyon’s colorful cliffs millions of years ago. The most beautiful part is Valley of Castles; massive silhouette feels like huge castles, some of them similar to giant warriors. If you will go down and follow the path, you will find yourself in a magic land of fantastic towers, sky bridges, fossilized dinosaurs and other interesting creatures. All depends on your imagination. After entertaining experience in the canyons, we will drive back to Almaty. Overnight in a hotel.

 

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide and driver will transfer you to the city.
